are there battery charging or headlight windings on your stator, or is there only wires for the ignition system? If there's lighting wires or battery charge wires going to a rectifier you only need a 6 volt regulator rectifier like this http://www.regulatorrectifier.com/ca...ator-rectifier

If its got a plug for one i'm sure it would have lighting coils in the stator. It should have wires you could connect to a regulator rectifier then. I'm curious though why you would want to hook up a 6 volt battery to that bike? I would imagine its already setup for a 12v system. Any incandescent light would probably work with no battery or wiring changes but an LED light would need a battery or at least a capacitor hooked up to work with a voltage reg and rectifier.

Do you think i should just stick with a normal incdescent light?

It would be simpler because your stator output is AC and will run a halogen bulb. LED's are DC and you will need a rectifier, as mentioned, to convert AC to DC. With DC you may be able to charge a battery depending on the output of your stator.
    Nothing to see here....move along

VooDoo nailed it. Incandescent bulbs will work with no modifications at all. The other route may end up costing more than its worth. If your heart is set on LED bulbs you may call Ricky Stator, I think they used to have a universal conversion kit for Banshee's to run a capacitor and rectifier so they could run HID and LED bulbs
