    Good place for metal

I need to fab up some mounts, but I'm having a hell of a time finding somewhere to get a few 1/4" x 3 x 4 plates. Anyone know of a decent vendor??

I'll cut some for you, just let me know the exact dimensions and where you want the holes, etc.

Thanks! Sorry just saw this. I got some metal at reno salvage and picked up a chop saw, it was a bit rough but I got it done!

These recommendations seem good for when you know exactly what you need - what about places to just browse their scrap and buy by the pound? I like to pick up odds and ends that I think might be useful for projects, etc.

Reno Salvage usually has a bunch of odds and ends on a rack.
