    Selling my Glock 22

I'm considering selling my Glock 22 if I can get enough for it to be worth parting with. I'm not sure what they go for but the 0.40 caliber is a great round. This one double stacks 15+1.

I'm thinking that selling this may help me justify (rationalize) the new Kimber pocket 380 that I want.

I'm not in the market for a full size .40 but going rate is about $400-$450 depending on condition.

I was thinking about $450-$500. This one includes 3 mags, leather holster, 2-mag belt clip and about 200 rds of FMJ.

Well maybe you should note that in the orinal post, and put a price on it. You also might want to post a picture if you can upload one, folks tend to be more open to the same when they see the item in question.

FWIW, if anybody says "make me an offer" without a price, I just scroll right on by.

Generally when selling something, a person has two jobs. 1. Describe it. 2. List a price

Agree, you need a picture. I know, they're all the same but that is just what people expect. Also, with Glock to need to be clear what gen it is since a lot of people who suffer Glock bite won't want a non gen 4 and others are gen 3 lovers. I think 450-500 is likely with the holster and some ammo depending on the generation. Although, .40 is on the downward slope to be sure and a full size is not for everyone so who knows. The good thing is that a Glock won't have to go very cheap before someone is just going to buy it for a spare gun.

    I'm clueless on the generation.

The model 22 seems to go for $400 minimum. Two extra magazines at $40 each, 200 rds of FMJ ($60), leather holster and belt clip for extra mags. It seem like $500 is a fair price. I'll post pics and research generation when I get home.

Any less and I would probably keep it. I don't like parting with guitars or guns.

Yeah, $500 seems fair. Since you hadn't listed any of that in the OP, that's why I first mentioned what I did.

    Glock gen 3, model 22, 40 caliber ($400)
    2 extra mags ($40 each)
    2 boxes Winchester PDX1 ($25 each)
1 box HPR Black Ops ($30)
    Leather holster ($50)
Belt clip for extra mags ($25)
    113 rounds of FMJ ($35)

That's well over $600 so I think $500 firm is a fair price.

I'm not a Glock guy so I didn't know that. Thanks for the clarification.

The more a gun is like a 1911, the more I like it. I didn't take to the Glock like I thought I would.

$400 for the gun with all the magazines sounds fair.

Unless something changed 3rd gen gun have never come with 3 mags unless they were blue label guns. 4th gen guns started coming with 3 but 3rd gens always had two with them.

I believe this is true. I have 2 3rd gen glocks and they both came with 2 mags. A glock 21sf and a 22.
