    need recovery help

    stuck with broken rear drive shaft approx 1 1/4 mile from meadow lake dam on deer creek trail. may be able to drive out with a pull. meadow lake is at end of blue lakes rd off hiway 88. truck is stock 2001 extra cab pu.. for more details call mike at 510 499 5994.

    More specific on truck type? Someone might have a shaft laying around.

    Your description doesn't make sense to me. I'd guess you are actually 1 1/4 mile south of Lower Blue Lake dam on Deer Valley trail. This is the Clover Valley area, where the trail crosses Blue Creek. That is, I think you got Meadow Lake and Lower Blue Lake confused. As Mazzif asked, post your rigs GPS coordinates!

    Gool luck. Deer valley trail is no longer completely stock friendly. Especially between deer creek and hermit valley. From description he is down along blue creek below lower blue lake dam.

    would this happen to be the stock early 2000's chevy that was damaged/parked on the side of the deer Valley trail 2 weekends ago? Looked pretty freshly damaged/parked when we passed it and had a twisted rear shaft with the front portion of it pulled and tossed in the bed

    Yes that does sound like my truck. I am getting set up with a new driveshaft but I thing I will still need help getting out. Is there anyone that can help me out?

    I will be there on the 18 th. Big 50+ rig poker run thru there. If its still there we can take a look.
