Seems to be a lot of blow by. I wonder if that is a result of muzzle loading and the clearance needed to do that or if it's by design to keep pressures in check.
Awesome stuff no matter what. Every time I drive by that machine shop at the end of Glendale I dream of making a cannon from some of that heavy wall tube they have on the rack in back
