    FJ in snow near Verdi

Hey guys. It's probably bad form to post a recovery request as an intro, so I apologize for that. I've checked this forum off and on for years.

Anyway, I put my FJ into slush yesterday on Long Valley Rd off Dog Valley about 4 miles west of Verdi. It's an easy winch or strap out, but I had to leave it there. If anyone wants to help me get it, I'd appreciate it. Otherwise, I'll just rent something and go use my straps.

How early are you trying to head out? I can be in that area around 11:15 or 11:30 tomorrow. Lots of traffic on that road on the weekends. Somenone might just pull you out b4 then :-). Let me know if that's early enough and we coordinate a link up.

That would work fine for me. I'm not in a super rush, but I don't want to leave it sort of blocking the road. But yeah, someone might just push it aside.

It's past where the road forks at the bottom of the hill. I guess that's Bordertown side. It's on Long Valley itself.

E-N/E. I think it's pointed roughly north. I was headed toward Dog Valley campground and the Crystal Mine area. Should be heading out here in a bit.
