    Where would I find

Does anyone have any ideas for a high speed winch? I would like it to be gas powered and pull in between 12-18mph and hold at least two hundred feet of rope.It would not be used for recovery'sBut will be mounted to the yota!

Do you think a starter would be fast enough for him(18-20mph)

I was thinking of something like a pot puller without the gear reduction. I just dont know if it would have the power you need

If you giure it out post pics

Sweet! That will be pretty rad. I followed this design almost exactly the one this dude in florida built on Winchskating.com. The only difference is mine was actually a 9 horse. Check it.

I dont know of anyone that winches for wakeboarding. Winches are used for wakeskating in most cases. With wakeskating you want very little wake. And if he is planning on building rails that would be ever more awesome.

Along the lines of the ATV I remember seeing a video back in the Model T days where they rapped a rope around the rear wheel and winched the truck up a muddy hill.

Checkout this video of an ATV winch.

Low buck.... Get a spare wheel. Weld retainers on the sides to increase the amount of rope it would spool. Secure rear of truck off ground and mash the skinny!! 0-60 pulling your arms off!!!!!

Build up a removable hitch mount model like previously stated would be sick. I see parking on the TRAIL by the damn at Buck and the rider running across and starting from the other side. Thats hillbilly deluxe!
