I've been out of street bikes for over 15 years, but got the bug again recently. I found this very well maintained '92 Yamaha Seca II in Paradise Ca a few weeks ago. This pic is at the previous owners home. His wife had a minor spill on it, and I have since replaced the exhaust. It also came with a Corbin seat, tank bag and soft luggage. I am currently in the process of gathering up parts to intall an FZR600 front fork and wheel so it will have much better braking with dual discs.....

Here is my little offroad toy and co-driver.....

KLR fiend ... the 650 is too heavy for offroad, too light for touring, too underpowered for racing. But in the hands of a capable pilot, its a low tech, reliable, workhorse that can deliver the goods.

Riding solo to Moab via Jarbidge.

Also have leller Vstrom road burner, here halfway up Monitor Pass.

I've rolled up a bunch of miles on a couple different klrs. Had an '89 that spit
me off when riding the top of Angeles Crest in '03, shattering a hip and some
ribs (note to self "Pay attention like your life depended on it"). Some of the klrs
I just setup and sold to brothers or nephews. Others like the pretty one in
the pics I've been more loyal to, that '95 Barbie Bike is at 36k and with
blue plastics and a set of street wheels it also serves as the daily commuter.

I also kept an '87 and pimped it out to pretend I could afford the austrian
orange adventure bike. The plastics and mechanicals are interchangeable from
all years between 1987 and 2007 (except for a few motor internals in the early years).

Feeding the addiction, its my drug of choice.
