    Thank you very much,

    Jim

P.S. Stupid question about adding a weapon. IF you qualify for semi-auto and want to add for 10 bucks the revolver, do you have to qualify w/said revolver?

Also can you add it at a later date and not go through class etc?

    Thanks again,

I had no intention of marketing. I tried to open it three times on both but couldn't.

I copied the info and emailed it.

I don't know of any other group offering LOCALLY here a CCW class.

Personally, I would rather have a personal class and testing if the cost wasn't to high, and I don't even know of that.

I have no problem deleting the post, I just needed the info.

If you can offer something else LOCALLY, or privately that doesn't put a gaping hole in my wallet I'm listening. I'm NOT trying to be a pain or make any derogatory statement by the one I just made.

Since my son is looking to buy a hand gun, I was offering the info to him to make a decision.

    Thanks,
    Jim

P.S. I have no problem contacting a MOD to have it deleted if it makes everyone feel better.

Stillwater did my CCW class. If you are planning on going with them bring Kevlar. They had terrible range safety when I went. I wont go into details, but I will say that I very nearly had to return fire when some of their members got bored during my qual.

Most instructors would let you tag along at the shooting portion of a class in order to qualify and add a weapon (for a small fee), I'd suppose they would do the same if you choose not to revolver qualify at the time. But then you still have to take the new certification to the sheriff and get your card updated.

Take advantage of your class time and the new "any semi/any revolver" laws: buy or borrow a revolver, qualify with it in the same class, and be done with everything for life.
