I had heard from a good source that it was sold to a housing developer.
Do you want to be right or do you want to be successful?

The Damonte's owners of Sage Hill and the Diloreto's developers I believe are related by marriage, and yes the property will be a housing development within the next couple of years. At least this is what I understand after talking with some people in the industry.

I wonder how they plan on remediating the lead left on that land from years of shooting sports? If breaking a single mercury thermometer in a high school chemistry lab can close down an whole school and cost 17K in clean up costs, i am sure sage hill would qualify for super fund monies

They will mine the lead and then haul off the dirt (as deep as needed) to Lockwood.

Capitol City range mined their lead a few years ago and made a tidy profit on it.

If you want to shoot clays go down to carson. Nicer place to shoot all around anyway.

I doubt Sage Hill we ever reopen as a range. While there is a lot of potential there I just dont see it.
