    Evergreen Cartography and 4x4 Mapping

    Hello All!

I am pleased to introduce myself. My name is Alex and I have started a small business in the mapping world. I've been off roading now since I about 16. I've always wanted a map of everywhere I've ever been and those ones I've found online always were missing something or were rather expensive. So I thought I'd be able to do it better instead of just complaining. So my company is a very small company, literally myself and one other person at the moment. I've been wheeling with R4x4 back when it was a Sunday run, back in 2012-2015.

Evergreen Cartography is here to map ANYTHING you need. I'll be offering drone services soon as well (we are FAA certified). So if you need something mapped let me know! We can do GIS solutions along with simple static mapping.

I'm in the process of getting more 4x4 trail maps uploaded onto the website, but if you have a specific trail you want mapped, OR have GPS tracks you want mapped, just email me, PM here or at [email protected]

I look forward to serving you all with maps to get you where you want to go. I am constantly trying to improve my services so please let me know if there's something you'd like to see on a map or information that you'd want on it.

    Cheers and Happy Wheeling!

That's cool. Not sure how an average four wheeler would be able to use it, with access to Google Maps or the like, but I'd be interested in hearing more about this.

We can offer printed 18x24 inch maps of any trail. We also are able to add more information to our maps that Google Maps may not have loaded onto their app. In addition we can customize any map to the users specific needs/wants. Say you wanted a hunting map and needed to know land cover or where local springs are? We can add that onto your map w/ GPS coordinates shown to guide you to them. Google Maps is a great tool no doubt. But it can be limited and we seek to augment Google use with more information. If a customer wants we can even load data into a google readable format to use it with Google. Google maps is but one tool that we can use to get your adventure underway and we want to help you do that.

If you want to know more or have any questions please PM me or email me at [email protected] I am always willing to answer questions to discuss mapping.

I know I appreciate having an actual printed map. You never know when technology is going to crap out.

Perhaps you could put together a bundle of all the local trails?

The mountain bike guys might appreciate this as well. There are tons of trails on Peavine and not many maps available. Same with Galena.

I’d be interested to know what a map of local trails costs. I know NDOT has their road atlas thing but they have taken trails off that book so people won’t use them from what I’ve been told.

That's what we're trying to do actually. We will have more and more available as time goes on. We constantly are researching new trails and getting all the information we can about them and then compile that into a map. Check out some of maps that are available on our website. In addition if a current available is missing something or isn't how you'd like it we can customize it how you want.

We are here to provide maps that are high quality but not expensive, which tends to sound like a sales pitch from everyone but we really try to make that a reality. We gather information for trails from as many sources as possible, including first hand knowledge from customers as well as getting out there ourselves. We really are trying to get you the best map possible for the best price.

One kind of make I'd like is one that accurately lists trails legal to use and indian reservation boundaries that is up to date. They have a select few that are legal to use with OHV but the current maps stink to be able to tell which are ok.

If we create a map that such information is going to be useful to our customers then we will absolutely include that in our products. We are also doing our best to keep up with changing legal status for trails. So if such information changes after we put out a map we will update that map accordingly. We'd also do our best to contact customers who recently purchased that map to inform them that there is an updated version of the map.
