    Slip yoke eliminater

    Ok jeep guys, need help installing a slip yoke eliminater kit into my yj.

    93 jeep soa with dana 44's. Live in the Sparks area and have seen some pretty amazing jeeps out there. Let me know if you can assist.

    I could fit you in the shop next weekend, I am up Mt. Rose highway. I would figure 4-5 hours on it.

    Remove driveshaft and drain transfer case
    Remove yokes from transfer case
    Remove back half of transfer case
    Pull out the two gears and shafts
    Press on bearings and reinstall.
    Thin film of RTV on the case when reinstalling.
    Buy new rubber washers for $2 from Summit Racing

    Do the wide chain at the same time if you can.
    Measure your required driveshaft length and have a new one made. The ones from pick n pull will be $45 and bent. $300 - 400 for a new one locally built.

    I just did it. Wish I’d have just bought the driveshaft and kit from summit instead of trying to save money. I pulled the case but it isn’t necessary. It would be easier to leave the case in I think.
